Understanding Adult Family Homes
An Adult Family Home is a residential home licensed by the state to provide care and support for up to six adults. It offers a more intimate, family-like setting compared to larger assisted living facilities or nursing homes, ensuring higher caregiver-to-resident ratios and more personalized attention.
Momona AFH provides various levels of care, including assisted living, memory care (dementia and Alzheimer's), mental health support, and care for individuals with developmental disabilities. We provide assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), medication management, and 24/7 health monitoring.
To maintain a high standard of personalized care and a true family atmosphere, we accommodate a maximum of six residents. This allows our caregivers to build deep, meaningful relationships with each individual.
Yes! We provide three nutritious, home-cooked meals every day, along with healthy snacks. We take great pride in our culinary offerings and can accommodate specific dietary needs or preferences requested by residents or their physicians.
We encourage family and friends to visit their loved ones! While we generally suggest visiting between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM to respect the residents' routines and rest, we are flexible and can arrange visits outside these hours with prior notice.
Yes, we offer short-term respite care based on availability. This service provides temporary relief for primary family caregivers, ensuring their loved ones receive professional care in a safe environment during their absence.
